UFO spotted at the royal wedding venue, as predicted.

Looks like Prince William and fiancée Kate Middleton will have some unexpected guests at their royal wedding.

A tourist has reportedly filmed a UFO hovering over Westminster Abbey - the venue for Friday's Royal Wedding.

The two-and-a half-minute video footage shows a shimmering white object in a cloudless blue sky near Big Ben.

It seems to move and shift shape - but to have three sections, like the starship USS Enterprise from TV's Star Trek.

"First we thought it was a parachute but it was way too high up," the Sun quoted the tourist as posting it on the Internet.

"It changed shape but stayed there for at least 30 minutes. Then I lost sight of it," the tourist added."

The sighting emerged shortly after retired US Air Force major predicted extra-terrestrials would visit Earth to see William and Middleton tie the knot.

Russian UFO crash, really making a buzz online!

Unbelievable. Even top news agencies actually bother to include this apparently obvious hoax on their websites. I was just browsing for some UFO news this evening when I stumbled upon this link belonging to International Business Times.

The economic voice too, seems to have taken interest in this footage. Some more include the Daily Mail, Telegraph.co.uk, East Anglian Daily times and The Sun.

Why? Why is this happening? I have a theory in this regard. I believe, this footage is deliberately allowed to circulate around the internet in the hopes of being rejected as a hoax. For all you know, this could be real alright? The Roswell incident of 1946 is still fresh in people's minds, merely because of this evidence of what looked like an elaborate cover-up (large number of personnel and equipment at the site just to clear a weather balloon?). Or, perhaps the Russian government is probably studying the media's reaction? In either case, a cover-up is certainly not in their agenda. Otherwise, I wouldn't be posting this here right now. I'm just a college guy with an interest on UFOs, after all!

Another "realistic" footage showing an alien corpse in Russia is making its rounds on the internet. Personally, I think it's a hoax. Even if a bunch of civilians did find an alien corpse, their government would swoop in and cover it up in no time.

UFO sightings expected at Will and Kate's wedding?

Former US Air Force officer George Filer manages Britain’s National UFO Center, and his writings are featured prominently by conspiracy websites. He says that UFOs are often witnessed in the vicinity of important events, and it is therefore very possible that they will be seen near the royal wedding.

Filer told AOL News that UFOs’ interest in important occurrences led to their sighting in Libya and tsunami-stricken parts of Japan. He says his UFO Center is informed of more than a thousand UFO sightings every month, and British Royal Air Force pilots have seen them recently over the English Channel.

He spoke of a meeting with William’s father, Prince Philip in 1961 or 1962, when he was a navigator in a tanker aircraft. Philip conversed with “a group of us,” and said that his uncle, Earl Mountbatten, had seen UFOs.

Colin Andrews, a well-known investigator of crop circles, provided some confirmation in royal interest in UFOs. He claims he received a letter from the Queen, who had read one of his books. When he posted the letter online, he was asked to remove it because it was “personal” correspondence not intended for public consumption.

FBI releases fresh UFO document

The Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) has released documents which could prove aliens landed in New Mexico more than sixty years ago.

The FBI has recently launched a new online resource called The Vault on its official website, and it contains documents on Roswell UFO sightings, as well as hundreds of pages of information on UFO sightings in general.

Among the thousands of files published in The Vault is a memo that appears to prove aliens in flying saucers did land in New Mexico prior to 1950.

The memo was written to the FBI director from Guy Hottel, the special agent in charge of the Washington field office in 1950.

In the memo, whose subject line is “Flying Saucers,” Agent Hottel reveals that an Air Force investigator had stated that “Three so-called flying saucers had been recovered in New Mexico.”

The investigator gave the information to a special agent, he went on to say.

The FBI has censored both the agent and the investigator's identity.

“They were described as being circular in shape with raised centers, approximately 50 feet in diameter,” Agent Hottel went on to write.

The bodies were “dressed in a metallic cloth of a very fine texture. Each body was bandaged in a manner similar to the blackout suits used by speed flyers and test pilots.”

He pointed out that the informant, whose identity was censored in the memo, claimed the saucers had been found in New Mexico “due to the fact that the government has a very high-powered radar set-up in that area and it is believed the radar interferes with the controlling mechanism of the saucers.”

He then stated that the special agent did not attempt to investigate further.

The town of Roswell in New Mexico became infamous after reports that a flying saucer had crashed there in 1947.

The bodies of aliens were said to have been recovered and autopsied by the US military, but American authorities allegedly covered the incident up.

Another memo published in The Vault from 1947 claimed that an object “purporting to be a flying disc” had been recovered near Roswell.

Second Cigar shaped UFO reported over Texas skies

A Cypress, TX, witness reports a white or silver "thin object" hovering 1,000 feet over US 290 that quickly disappeared from view on April 5, 2011, according to April 9, 2011, testimony from the Mutual UFO Network (MUFON) witness reporting database.

This is the second cigar-shaped report from Texas in a two-day period. We recently covered a similar shape UFO in the story: Illuminated cigar UFO reported over Texas - a sighting that occurred one day later, on April 6, 2011. In the first case, the witness was able to provide an image of the object, although no town name was mentioned in the public portion of the MUFON report.

"It seemed to be moving to moving parallel to the highway, and as I turned left onto Spring Cypress Road," the witness stated. "The object stopped, then hovered over the freeway, sort of in the upper horizon behind it."

The witness lost sight of the object while driving under the freeway.

"It was gone and nowhere to be found."

Cypress is an unincorporated area in Harris County, located inside the city of Houston, along US 290.The area ranks 50th in the top 100-income areas in the U.S. No images or videos were included with the MUFON report.

The cigar-shaped UFO is not the most common UFO shape, but is frequently spotted across the U.S. Some of the Pcigar-shaped UFO stories we covered here include:

Tennessee witnesses describe cigar-shaped UFO

Low flying cigar UFO moves over Austell, Georgia highway

Pennsylvania witness photographs cigar-shaped UFO

Cigar UFO follows orange spheres over Florida

Cigar-shaped UFO 50 feet over Blue Lake, CA home emits buzzing noise

Cigar-shaped UFO hovers low over Phoenix, Arizona highway

Texas is a current UFO ALERT 3 rating, with a high number of UFO sightings nationally. Texas had 39 UFO reports in March 2011 - the second highest reporting state - while California had 45 sightings, the highest reporting state in the nation.

UFO over Sao Paolo, Brazil

It doesn't appear to be an aeroplane, balloons don't disappear in a burst of light, and the largest bird able to hover in one place is still too small to be seen from this distance.

So what is this mysterious object apparently floating in the skies above Brazil?

The city of Sao Paolo is abuzz after amateur footage showing what appears to be an unidentified flying object appeared moving through the clouds.

The grey, saucer-shaped object could be seen for nearly a minute before suddenly disappearing in a bright flash of light.

The spectacle is followed by two more mysterious bursts of light.

Brazilian television channel G1 obtained the footage from some motorists who spotted the object near the town of Agudos.

The motorists, who the channel did not identify, said they rushed from their car to film the object with a hand-held camera.

G1 reports that the two camera-operators said that the earth shook just as the two blasts of light appeared – a fact that was corroborated by other people nearby at the time.

Yet no seismic activity has been reported in the area, the nearest tremors occurring south, in Chile.

Philip Cavaca, an expert in video editing, told G1 that the two that reported the sighting are nothing more than expert hoaxers.

‘It can be seen in one frame. When the truck goes by, you can tell that the UFO was moved, which is unnoticeable to the naked eye,’ Cavaca said.

By freezing the image you can see the exact frame in which the so-called UFO alters, Cavaca claimed.

But many internet users, viewing the footage after it went viral, believe otherwise.

'It looks just like all the other images of UFOs, it must be real!!' one user wrote excitedly.

'Are you stupid?' another replied.

Arizona desert UFO 'morphs' into two lights

An Arizona witness reports an encounter on a lonely desert road with a red orb as close as six feet just west of Congress after midnight on May 19, 2010, according to February 5, 2011, testimony from the Mutual UFO Network (MUFON) witness reporting database.

The witness was three miles west of Congress when a light first thought to be a helicopter was spotted after pulling over and getting out of the vehicle.

"It was a red light intermittently beaming a brilliant, focused white light down to the ground as if to be looking for someone or something, and I thought what or who would be way out there, and why there were no strobe I.D. lights on the helicopter," the witness stated.

The witness got back into the vehicle and continued to observe the light.

"Suddenly, what I thought was a helicopter flying at 500 feet was much smaller and much closer; in fact, it was now just on the other side of the road and was about 10 feet off the ground, hovering."

The object appeared to be searching for something on the ground, and then "morphed" into two tiny red lights.

"Now as it approached my car, it suddenly morphed back into its former shape: a spherical orb about the size of a softball, bright red (DOT emergency red, like a tail-light). Was this military? Is this a living organism? Perhaps an alien probe? It was now six feet in front of my car, four feet off the ground, just hovering."

The witness described the object.

"I noticed that although the red light emitted from this thing was very bright to my eyes, it wasn’t casting shadows and did not reflect from the surrounding bushes or from the polished surface of my hood. I could see the surface of this thing seemed to be fluid- like, and composed of what appeared to be millions of tiny dots of light swirling around very fast and was very hard for my eyes to focus on it. The perimeter seemed to fuzz out at the edges, like an aura or halo. The light seemed to be luminous rather than projected, and was not radiating any heat that I could feel."

The witness considered getting out of the vehicle to investigate further, but fear set in.

"Suddenly, the orb started to move a little closer to me, and my curiosity was overcome by fear… I felt panic consume me and simultaneously engaged the engine and hit the lights. The orb reacted by backing away slightly. Illuminated by my headlights, I could plainly see that there were no mechanical parts or structure. I slammed the gearshift into drive, and floored it. I wanted to put as much distance between that thing and me as fast as possible. I warily glanced in the rear-view mirror and was horrified to realize that it was pursuing me down the road at 90 mph."

The witness attempted to use a cell phone to call for help, but the phone service did not work. The witness eventually reached Congress and pulled over.

"For the next two or three hours, I watched odd lights moving through the dark moonless night. I found that my eyesight had been affected by looking at the orb, and I could not focus on any bright light source. Whatever I tried looking at seemed to move away into periphery. Needless to say, I stayed parked there and tried my best to go to sleep and forget about what I had seen."

No images or video were included with the MUFON report.

Arizona is a current UFO ALERT 4 rating, with a strong number of UFO sightings nationally. Arizona had 19 UFO reports in January 2011. California had 47 cases, the highest reporting state in the nation.

The following is the unedited and as yet uninvestigated report filed with MUFON. Please keep in mind that most UFO reports can be explained as something natural or manmade. If Arizona MUFON State Director Jim Mann investigates and reports back on this case, I will release an update. Please report UFO activity to MUFON.com.

AZ, May 19, 2010 - Confronted and chased by a Softball size Red Orb. MUFON Case # 27685.

Encounter on a Lonely Desert Road

By [Witness name removed CMS/dr]

The beams of my headlights seemed to be chasing elusive shadows cast against the desert sage as I drove through the dark moonless night towards Congress, Arizona. Retired now, a gold prospector with the time to fulfill my quest for the big nugget, my thoughts then were of gold and only gold…that was about to change.

Just about midnight and just South of the middle of nowhere, I had stopped and pulled off the road to relieve myself and take a break from driving, and it was at this moment that I first saw what I thought to be a helicopter with a bright searchlight circling the area southwest of me.

Having served with the U.S.A.F., I have seen many types of aircraft, but this was something I had never seen before. It was a red light intermittently beaming a brilliant, focused white light down to the ground as if to be looking for someone or something, and I thought what or who would be way out there, and why there were no strobe I.D. lights on the helicopter.

I didn’t give it much more thought and got back in the car and grabbed a cigarette, lit up and gazed back towards the southwest. The chopper was now circling closer to me and although my window was down, there was no noise… and I thought that was really strange.

Suddenly, what I thought was a helicopter flying at 500 feet was much smaller and much closer; in fact, it was now just on the other side of the road and was about 10 feet off the ground, hovering. I flicked the cigarette out the window. I rubbed my eyes in disbelief. Am I hallucinating?

“What the ____ is that?” My heart beating fast and my mind spinning, I watched as the object as it moved through the sparse vegetation, stopping now and then to illuminate the ground beneath with its powerful beam of white light, and then it appeared to morph into two tiny red lights, like twin LED’s (light emitting diodes) and started to cross the road towards me.

Now as it approached my car, it suddenly morphed back into its former shape: a spherical orb about the size of a softball, bright red (DOT emergency red, like a tail-light). Was this military? Is this a living organism? Perhaps an alien probe? It was now six feet in front of my car, four feet off the ground, just hovering. What the ____is this thing??? Somehow, I don’t think it’s military…no stars, insignia or guns…(chuckle)

I noticed that although the red light emitted from this thing was very bright to my eyes, it wasn’t casting shadows and did not reflect from the surrounding bushes or from the polished surface of my hood. I could see the surface of this thing seemed to be fluid- like, and composed of what appeared to be millions of tiny dots of light swirling around very fast and was very hard for my eyes to focus on it. The perimeter seemed to fuzz out at the edges, like an aura or halo. The light seemed to be luminous rather than projected, and was not radiating any heat that I could feel.

It’s amazing what goes through your head when confronted with an un-known like this… a memory of Dr. XXXXXXX of S.E.T.I. explaining that most UFO sightings are mostly swamp gas or weather balloons…Hey Doc! Here’s one that will fit right up your telescope!

At this moment, I was toying with the idea of getting out of my car to approach the orb and try to communicate with it.

Suddenly, the orb started to move a little closer to me, and my curiosity was overcome by fear… I felt panic consume me and simultaneously engaged the engine and hit the lights. The orb reacted by backing away slightly. Illuminated by my headlights, I could plainly see that there were no mechanical parts or structure. I slammed the gearshift into drive, and floored it. I wanted to put as much distance between that thing and me as fast as possible. I warily glanced in the rear-view mirror and was horrified to realize that it was pursuing me down the road at 90 mph.

I grabbed my cell phone and hurriedly called 911. NO SERVICE. I started laughing out loud. Who the hell would believe me if I reported being chased by a hovering, glowing red softball? They would think I was drunk or stoned out of mind!

The little town of Congress had already rolled up the sidewalks and turned off the lights, and not a soul stirring…well, it was 1:00 a.m. Arizona time. I decided to park in a vacant lot near the Fire Station right off the main highway.

For the next two or three hours, I watched odd lights moving through the dark moonless night. I found that my eyesight had been affected by looking at the orb, and I could not focus on any bright light source. Whatever I tried looking at seemed to move away into periphery. Needless to say, I stayed parked there and tried my best to go to sleep and forget about what I had seen.

Later, when I arrived home in California a couple of days later, I also noticed that my eyesight had not only been temporarily affected, but it had improved to some extent, and now can read small print without the use of my reading glasses.

I have shared this story with a few friends, but I notice that their eyes glaze over and I realize that they don’t believe what I saw. If someone told me this story, I don’t think that I would believe it myself. All said, I swear that this report is absolutely true and accurate to the best of my knowledge.

UFO mystery in Kolkata air

Prasanta Paul, Kolkata, Feb 1, DH News Service :

A glowing round object making a speedy descent near the West Bengal-Bihar border early on January 26 left pilots of five aircraft baffled, triggering widespread speculation about unidentified flying objects (UFOs).

The first person to sight the object was a senior Air India pilot who was navigating the aircraft at a height of 34,000 ft during its flight from Kolkata to New Delhi.

“The plane was just entering the airspace of Gaya, close to Bengal-Bihar border, when I first noticed the glowing object, below the aircraft, hurtling down at a very high speed,” Captain Rishi was quoted as saying by the Air Traffic Control (ATC) Tower here at Dum Dum International Airport.

The Air India pilot initially didn’t pay much attention as it is customary for the pilots to notice several such things midair. But when the aircraft was close to Varanasi, the object was still brightly visible.

Without wasting time, he informed the Varanasi Air Traffic Control from where ATC, Kolkata, was alerted.

The officials at ATC pondered over whether pilots of other international flights that might have crossed the Kolkata-Bihar-Varanasi route, had also observed the glowing object reported by Capt Rishi.

Accordingly, the ATC, Kolkata, beamed asking signals for other international flights that flew the same airspace during the period concerned.

Foreign pilots confirm

To their utter surprise, the air traffic control officials were told by as many as four foreign airlines flight pilots that they had seen the same object and all of them reiterated that it was falling down at a great speed!

FinAir of Finland and Novou Air of Sweden were flying from the West to East while a couple of flights of Cathay Pacific and Dynasty Airways of China were moving in the opposite direction at an altitude between 34,000 and 37,000 ft over the airspace supposed to be in the trajectory of the object.

Once the foreign airlines pilots radioed back the ATC tower here, confirming their sighting of the object, ATC engineers immediately got in touch with the Indian Air Force. However, the IAF engineers pointed out that their powerful radar had failed to track or notice any unusual object.

“It could be a shooting star or part of a meteor or a metal that had a sudden entry into the earth’s atmosphere as a result of which it turned into a burning object and appeared glowing from a distance,” explained Positional Astronomy Centre director Sanjib Sen.

“There is no denying the fact of its existence as so many pilots having seen it.”
But when everyone had seen it falling at a high speed, where and when the object had hit the earth? There is apparently no answer to this question so far.

Orb-of-light UFO spotted over Dome of Rock, Jerusalem

It could be dismissed as a hoax, except, the same footage was shot in two different angles by two different unrelated people. The first thing that comes to my mind is, what are these "orbs" made of? Surely, this one is not the first of its kind. I've previously linked a video of it titled "Milkhill UFO incident" followed by another one seemingly making crop circles over a field.

"Orb" UFO's have also made an appearance in the famous Rendlesham (England) incident in 1980.

UFO drops flare like objects over Utah

An unidentified flying object was filmed dropping flare-like objects over Utah last week, leaving locals to wonder if they had experienced a close encounter with alien spacecrafts.

“They looked like they were flying in formation perfectly together and then whatever was dropping looked like it was burning real bright,” witness Mike Galbraith told Utah’s ABC 4. An Air Force veteran, Galbraith says that the trails of white lights falling from the objects were not military flares. “They usually shoot out the sides, or they shoot down, and there are a lot of them and you could definitely hear them.” Galbraith said the UFOs were silent.

According to AOL News, local airports and military installations have offered no explanation for the lights.

“I don’t believe in extraterrestrials,” said local resident Lynette Chidester. “I noticed over the roof of the garage a red light and a white light, and the red light isn’t flashing like an airplane light does — that’s what drew my attention to it.”

She then saw the streaks of white, glittering light reported by other witnesses like Galbraith. “Out of the red light comes, like, a firework — the phosphorescent silver — it’s coming down out of it and I thought, ‘OK, I’ve never seen that before.”

Residents reported seeing the lights for 15 minutes before they flew away.

How UFO Sightings Continue to Impact Shares of Lockheed Martin and Boeing

By Cory Bortnicker January 31, 2011 12:45 PM

Now I’m no conspiracy nut, but it’s pretty much an established fact that UFOs are here, and the only possible explanation for them is that inter-dimensional beings have teleported to our universe and worked out a deal by which they share their technology with us in exchange for access to our reproductive organs.

It’s also pretty much agreed upon that the corporate benefactors of this technology are companies like Boeing and Lockheed Martin, both of which use their passenger jet divisions as cover for their more sinister pursuits, particularly their reverse engineered aircraft that they deploy to game the stock market.

For investors, this presents a unique opportunity. You see, there is a direct correlation between the spotting of UFOs and the share prices for both Lockheed and Boeing.

How? Simple. When a UFO sighting makes the news, social mood shifts towards the paranoid, thereby driving up the share prices of the very military-industrial complex companies we rely on for air defense.

To wit, last November, we made this observation:

“One week after the UFO sightings in New York and Texas, shares of both Lockheed Martin and Boeing went up. Not down. Up.

See for yourself.

Lockheed Martin

Sighting Date Share Price 1 week later %change

NYC 10/14 70.2 71.84 +2.3%
Texas 10/16 70.02 71.78 +2.5%

Boeing

NYC 10/14 71.36 71.5 +.01%
Texas 10/16 70.11 71.66 +.22%

Well folks, it’s happening again.

Thought Catalog reports that two major UFO sightings occurred yesterday over Jerusalem and Utah.

How did shares of Lockheed and Boeing change from one week prior to the sighting until today? Let’s take a look.

Lockheed Martin

January 24th Current %change

78.03 79.32 +1.7%

Boeing

January 24th Current %change

72.73 69.85 -4%

Interesting!

First off, Lockheed is still definitely benefiting from UFO sightings. As was the case in November, shares of the company went up…not down…but up after UFOs were spotted.

But strangely, this time around, shares of Boeing went down…not up…but down after yesterday’s sighting.

What does this mean?

There’s really only one possible explanation. Executives at Lockheed have clearly struck a better technology sharing deal with the inter-dimensional beings, and while we have no hard “proof,” Mr. Market subconsciously understands Lockheed’s advantage and therefore has greater confidence in its ability to protect us from alien invasion, ergo the stronger share price.

Boeing, meanwhile, has become completely immobilized by the Dreamliner fiasco, and has had to turn its attention away from time-traveling anti-gravitational aircraft. This, of course, may make sense in the short term, but for long term investors it would be wise to consider Boeing’s place in the intergalactic aviation world before making any serious bets.

The facts don’t lie.

Spaceships landed of Anglesey coast, claims UFO expert

ALIEN spaceships under the sea might sound like the stuff of fiction, but a UFO researcher claims that an incident off the shores of Anglesey could be the best evidence yet of an infamous North Wales close encounter.

However, UFO expert Russ Kellett said that a coastguard document backed his theory that one of three alien craft found off the coast of Anglesey crashed into Lake Bala and caused the Berwyn Mountain incident January 23 1974.

He said: “This information that I have unleashed is a sort of Holy Grail. The Ministry of Defence released documents a year ago and there was nothing about military activity.”

The researcher, who has investigated the UFOs for 23 years, said that the Marine Coastguard document revealed that a military exercise called Operation Photoflash was underway from Liverpool Bay to the North Wales coast on the night of the Berwyn Incident.

Russ believes that the operation used depth charges to locate one alien craft at Puffin Island, another off the Anglesey coast and a further ship near Bangor.

The spaceships then shot out of the sea and into the air.

Russ said that a group of men discovered one of the silver flying saucers while the aliens emerged from one of the crashed ships on a roadside near Llandrillo.

He said: “They were slim humanoid creatures, about five ft six inches tall, with grey skin and wore jumpsuits with belt kits on them.”

Russ added that the men watched the soliders load the aliens into a vehicle and drive away.

The researched believed that the MoD had not released the information to prevent public panic.

He said: “You’ve got something that travels about under the sea without detection and can fly. What a piece of engineering that is.

“People are going to get really worried, because this is what I call super technology.”

Russ also claims to have several fragments of one of the craft.

Documents released by the MoD last year support the theory that a meteor shower caused the bright lights and earthqauke experienced by residents near the Berwyn Incident’s epicentre at Bala Lake.

UFO sightings spawn COMETA report, fear of world crisis

EUGENE, Ore. – Confirmed UFO sightings over Cairo and the port city of Suez in Egypt early Saturday morning comes at a time when the United Nations is reviewing the French government produced COMETA Report that states “about five percent of UFO sightings defy conventional explanation” and often occur at a time of world crisis; while, also stating that UFOs “constitute a real phenomenon warranting immediate international attention.”

Foreign exchange students at Eugene’s Lane Community College told local media today that while there’s a news blackout in Egypt. But, there’s also reports of UFOs. Moreover, there have been BBC and other international media confirmations; news of lights and UFO sightings in skies over this ancient land.

Information about the COMETA Report and the photo that accompanies this story was researched in part by a review of National Archives and the Division of Special Collections and University Archives, at the University of Oregon here in Eugene.

In addition, British and French government freedom of information act type files about UFOs are also available to the general public, and contain details about the COMETA Report and various proposals for making first contact with ETs.

The COMETA Report is a kin to the Air Force Blue Book reports on UFOs, states a French government information source. Moreover, COMETA’s history is tied to senior French government officials who, after World War II, decided it was time to investigate and prove UFO sightings were real.

Thus, COMETA is the French government’s official document stating that unidentified flying objects (UFOs) are real.

At the same time, members of the United Nations scientific committee are said to be reviewing proposals for the United Nations to set-up a UFO task force that will coordinate any direct contact with aliens.

Moreover, it’s believed that the United Nations would serve as the center communications with alien civilizations. With that in mind, sources say COMETA is being reviewed because UFO and alien contact “would impact world security.”

Any alien contact means it is superior coming here to Earth.

The 1971 UFO photo (accompanying this story) helped make the COMETA Report an already historic document, say those who study UFO phenomenon.

“The COMETA Report photo is proof that UFOs exist because after 40 years nobody can prove it’s not a UFO. It’s real. It happened. The COMETA Report will be remembered because it begins the conversation about making contact.

In addition, a British government document titled “How to Report a UFO Sighting,” in the Freedom of Information Section of the British Ministry of Defense (MoD) website.

The National Archives also includes information about UFO sightings over the Caribbean during the Cuban Missile Crisis in the Sixties; and, UFO sightings were reported in the Middle East during the Gulf War. For instance, the first group of 160 U.S. government UFO files were released on May 14, 2008 on the National Archives website. The files are said to have “more than enough evidence to confirm UFO existence.”

Crisis in Egypt and the region’s UFO connection

“An ancient civilization exists in Egypt, and it’s always been known as a center for UFO sightings and UFO history,” says Lyle Thorpe who’s a member of the Oregon UFO “watchers” group that meets monthly at Stonefield Beach, along Oregon’s central coast.

Thorpe points to the recent tour of Egyptian King Tut and the “Golden Age of the Pharaohs Exhibition” that recently ended a long U.S. tour. The King Tut exhibition is said to “bring the golden age of the Pharaohs to life with 130 ancient Egyptian artifacts and treasures uncovered by the explorer Harry Burton in 1922.”

What the Tut exhibit does not detail is many of the artifacts include unusual graphics that point to UFO craft, alien life and out-of-this -world points of view that are expressed in these personal items of King Tut.

Still, even with King Tut’s collection of UFO art in gold, etched in jewelry and used in design, there’s nobody of international stature, who’s still alive, that will come forward and lead the United Nations in establishing a UFO Center, as the COMETA Report advises.

Not surprising, Thorpe noted that according to the United Kingdom’s Freedom of Information Act “few UFO sightings in England and Europe were investigated in any meaningful sense of the word.”

The COMETA Report also states that a UFO crisis is possible because “there are so many unknowns.”

Also, the COMETA Report states that because there’s no scientific or world government consensus on how to best communicate or investigate UFOs and alien life on Earth, it will remain in the status quo until a world doctrine on the existence of UFOs is ratified by members of the United Nations.

The report says there’s proof that UFO civilizations have roots here on Earth and, thus, a vested interest in Earth and its people.

Interview with an ET!

Before you watch this video, please note that there is a good chance for it to be an elaborate hoax.

He does speak sense, regardless of whether he's an ET or not!

‘Crop circle’ in Indonesian rice paddy field

Thousands of curious onlookers are flocking to central Indonesia to look at a crop circle in a rice field following rumors it was formed by a UFO.

Though clearly sculptured by humans - it looks like an intricately designed flower - the 70-yard-wide (70-meter-wide) circle has drawn so much attention that police have blocked off the area with yellow tape.

Villagers have started charging entrance fees.

Guntur Purwanto, chief of Jogotirto village in Sleman district, said the circle appeared in the middle of the green rice paddies over the weekend.

Among those turning out and offering opinions were officials from Indonesia’s space agency, well-respected astronomers and nuclear agency officials. All agree it was not left by an UFO.

Michael Schratt: Secret UFO development 1-5

A true UFO believer is equally skeptical about it. Regardless, this video is truly a skeptic's dream. I'd say, this video is very shocking to me! To sum it up, this particular interview with Michael Schratt, an insider involved in secret government flight research basically authenticates the existence of UFOs, but dispels that of extra-terrestrial life!

A fresh sighting of a triangular UFO dubbed the “Dudley Dorito” racing through the skies has been reported in the Black Country – and this time it seemed to bring a friend.

Security officer Glyn Richards was having a cigarette in the garden of his home in Coppice Lane, Quarry Bank, when he saw a mysterious object with flashing lights in the sky, appearing to travel towards Dudley from Halesowen.

Moments later, he said, another UFO with a steady white light appeared and seemed to chase it off.

“I never really believed in anything like that, but it was no helicopter or plane that I’ve ever seen,” said father-of-two Mr Richards, aged 33. “I had a perfect view of it for around 20 seconds. It had flashing red lights in the centre and white lights at the end. Then another thing with just a bright white light appeared and it looked like it scared it away as it shot off in a perfectly straight line.”

It is the third reported sighting of the Dorito in as many years.

Mr Richards said he had called his nine-year-old daughter and seven-year-old son out of the house to see the objects, and following the sighting, which happened at around 7.45pm on Monday, they logged on to the internet and discovered previous sightings of the UFO on the Express & Star website — along with its own entry on Wikipedia.

“I was shocked but it was quite exciting as well — it was probably just a military plane or something but it’s interesting to think it could be something else,” he said.

In November, quality inspector Munesh Mistry reported seeing the triangular-shaped object in the skies near his home in Andrew Road, Tipton.

The object has also been spotted hovering over the Merry Hill Shopping Centre in Brierley Hill — and in February last year a UFO sighting was recorded by Sean Gibbs-Percival over the skies of Oldbury. On April 16, 2009, builders working at West Midland Safari Park were shocked to see a flying saucer-shaped object soaring above them.

'Pear-shaped' UFO spotted in East Kilbride

A motorist on the East Kilbride Expressway has reported spotting a mysterious object in the sky.

George King reported the mystery on the UK UFO Sightings website, following his unexplained sighting on Sunday, January 2 at around 8pm.

He said: "I was sitting in my car, facing west, when I noticed two orange lights - one smaller than the other - flying low.

"I thought it was a police helicopter but it kept coming with no noise and suddenly shot up skywards right in front of me.

"I jumped out of car to phone my son and to the left of me I saw a large, pear-shaped, bubble type thing heading towards Hamilton/Strathaven."

UFO expert and author Ron Halliday said: "There have been a number of sightings in the East Kilbride area, certainly since the beginning of this Millennium. It is somewhat of a hotspot for UFO activity, with a regular series of sightings.

"It is an intriguing sighting. There have been a number of odd objects seen in that area, strange things such as a coffin shaped UFO. Lights in the sky and moving off at a high speed both fit the patterns of a typical UFO report.

"Pear shaped is a new one to me, although ‘bubble’ shaped things are often described as looking like space crafts."

California psychologist: Humanity ready for aliens

"A California psychologist says human beings may be ready to accept evidence of extra-terrestrial intelligence without widespread panic.

Dr. Albert Harrison of the University of California's Davis campus said such a discovery 'may be far less startling for generations that have been brought up with word processors, electronic calculators, avatars and cell phones as compared with earlier generations,' The Scotsman reported Tuesday.'" UPI

A hundred years ago computers, smartphones, space stations, and other technological wonders existed only in the realm of science fiction. If a UFO had landed on the grounds of the White House back then, most people would have turned to religion for an explanation. The public would have been convinced that the extraterrestrials were demons with malevolent intentions. There would have been widespread panic, and society would be in an upheaval.

Today we live in a high-tech world and the idea that extraterrestrials might visit the Earth isn't so alarming. Decades of science fiction movies about UFO's and alien beings have psychologically prepared us for the arrival of visitors from a galaxy far, far away.
Most Americans have a rudimentary knowledge of quantum physics. We are familiar with the counterintuitive concepts of entanglement, the multi-verse theory, and string theory which posits the existence of 11 dimensions.

If physics makes time travel and the idea of an infinite number of universes seem possible, it's not too much of a stretch for us to believe there's intelligent life forms in the universe.

If the US government has proof that we aren't alone in the universe, I hope they will share that information with the public. Christian fundamentalists will panic, but the vast majority of Americans will make peace with the reality that we are not alone.

Tenessee witnesses describe cigar shaped UFO

Tennessee witnesses had a good view of a white cigar-shaped UFO for a minute and-a-half beginning at 9:52 a.m. on January 8, 2011, that they note had no visible tail, wings, windows, or markings, according to testimony from the Mutual UFO Network (MUFON) witness reporting database.

While no city was mentioned in the public portion of the MUFON report, the driver and two children were traveling west on Union Avenue at Cooper Avenue when the “large, white, non-reflective, cigar shaped object” moved overhead.

“This object was a long cylinder-shaped (cigar) and rounded on both ends,” the reporting witness stated. “It was white, but not reflecting the sun at all. It moved at a steady pace toward the south and slowly began ascending and turning slightly to the south west. We continued to watch this object, discussing it the entire time, looking for anything that could identify it (ie wings, tail, propeller, windows, colors or markings).”

No images or video were included with the MUFON report, which was filed on January 11, 2011.

Tennessee is a current UFO ALERT 5 rating, with a lower number of UFO sightings nationally.
Tennessee had 7 UFO reports in December 2011. California led the nation with 45 sighting reports.

You can read more details about other recently reported cases at the UFO Examiner home page. The most up-to-date UFO information can be heard at web radio show UFO Traffic Report every Wednesday, 9 – 10:30 p.m. EST, which includes a UFO Witness Testimony Program segment, and an update of the UFO ALERT national rating system. Past shows are available at the Archive page.

The following is the unedited and as yet uninvestigated report filed with MUFON. Please keep in mind that most UFO reports can be explained as something natural or manmade. If Tennessee MUFON State Director Eddie Middleton investigates and reports back on this case, I will release an update. Please report UFO activity to MUFON.com.

TN, January 8, 2011 - Large white cigar shaped object moving from north to south, ascending and turning to the southwest. MUFON Case # 27357.

January 8, 2011, Saturday morning at 9:52am, bright blue sky, no clouds. I was driving west on Union Avenue and had crossed Cooper Avenue when I saw overhead a large, white, non-reflective, cigar shaped object moving to the south. There were 2 youths in my back seat and I asked them if they could see it, too. They could view the object from the back seat, initially leaning forward and looking out the windshield and then looking out the side passenger window behind me (the driver).

At first glance I thought it to be a commercial jet, however, when I took a second look and asked my passengers to look, we saw there was no tail, no wings, no windows, no markings. This object was a long cylinder-shaped (cigar) and rounded on both ends. It was white, but not reflecting the sun at all. It moved at a steady pace toward the south and slowly began ascending and turning slightly to the south west. We continued to watch this object, discussing it the entire time, looking for anything that could identify it (ie wings, tail, propeller, windows, colors or markings). We watched it literally as far as we could see it.

When we could no longer see the white cigar shaped object we saw in that same area a jet-liner (in the vicinity of the Memphis International Airport) which showed up black against the blue sky and the wings and tail were quite visible even from the long distance. I asked my passengers if that looked like the object we all saw and they agreed that the object we saw and discussed was NOT an airplane.

I turned off Union Avenue at Willett and arrived at my destination. I estimate that we saw and observed this object for approximately 1 minute to 1 1/2 minutes and the only time we could not see it was when a building obstructed our view.

UFO darts across Oklahoma and Arkansas skies

UFO darted across the Oklahoma skies in a bluish-green glow. Authorities don't know what it was. People in Arkansas and eastern Oklahoma both saw the bright light passing over the area. The light was seen as far away as Florida.

Everyone is guessing what it may have been. Officials think that the object may have broken up and some pieces are on the ground in Oklahoma. According to KFOR, "Sheriff's dispatchers on both sides of the border say they received calls about the light Tuesday night."

The sky just lit up, and there is a picture of the object that someone in Oklahoma took, so your guess is as good as the next guy's. Residents of both states would like a definitive answer though. Oklahoma residents are being told that there may be debris in the state from the eerie light that appeared and disappeared just as quickly.

What it was is any one's guess, but there have certainly been some strange things in the sky and on the Earth lately. Rumors are flying about the bluish-green glowing light. Whatever it was, it was big and flashy.

More alien anomalies captured by NASA

'Extraterrestrial hypothesis' is now public operative explanation for UFOs in France, U.K. and China

By Alfred Lambremont Webre

Expert panels, military-intelligence agencies, and/or scientists, respectively, in France, U.K., and China now independently confirm that the ‘extraterrestrial hypothesis’ is now their public operative explanation for specific empirical UFO encounters.

According to one source, “The extraterrestrial hypothesis (ETH) is the hypothesis that some unidentified flying objects (UFOs) are best explained as being extraterrestrial life or space aliens from other planets occupying physical spacecraft visiting Earth.”

In France, on May 31, 2010, The Progress Report of the Sigma/3AF Commission, a semi-official report, adopted the extraterrestrial hypothesis for specific UFO sightings. According to researcher Antonio Huneeus “A new French report released on May 31, 2010 concluded that UFOs are definitely real and possibly of extraterrestrial origin. The Progress Report of the Sigma/3AF Commission comes from a highly credible source, the Aeronautical & Astronomical Association of France, known as the 3AF, which established a Commission on Unidentified Aerial Phenomena back in May 2008. The Commission’s President is Alain Boudier, a former French Defense attachĂ©, and one of its key members is Jean-Gabriel GreslĂ©, a former fighter pilot who studied at the U.S. Air Force Academy and later became an airliner pilot with Air France, where he experienced a couple of UFO sightings. GreslĂ© has published three UFO books in France, including Unidentified Flying Objects: An Airline Pilot Talks (Guy TrĂ©daniel, 1993).”

In the U.K. on August 4, 2010, the U.K. Ministry of Defence released World War II documents that confirmed that Prime Minister Winston Churchill had adopted the extraterrestrial hypothesis as the operating hypothesis of the U.K. government with regard to specific UFO sightings. In early August, 2010 the U.K. Ministry of Defence made public “an account of a wartime meeting attended by Winston Churchill in which, it is claimed, the prime minister was so concerned about a reported encounter between a UFO and RAF bombers, that he ordered it be kept secret for at least 50 years to prevent ‘mass panic’.

“Nick Pope, who used to investigate UFO sightings for the MoD, said: ‘The interesting thing is that most of the UFO files from that period have been destroyed.

“’But what happened is that a scientist whose grandfather was one of his [Churchill's] bodyguards, said look, Churchill and Eisenhower got together to cover up this phenomenal UFO sighting, that was witnessed by an RAF crew on their way back from a bombing raid.

“’The reason apparently was because Churchill believed it would cause mass panic and it would shatter people's religious views.’”

On August 23, 2010 in China, a planetary astronomer formally announced the extraterrestrial hypothesis as applicable to specific UFO encounters he had studied in notable sightings at the Purple Hills Observatory of the Chinese Academy of Sciences.

Dr. Michael E. Salla notes, “In a speech at a science forum held in the city of Guangzhou on August 23, a veteran Chinese astronomer with almost 40 years experience claimed that some UFOs are extraterrestrial spacecraft. Professor Wang Sichao is a planetary astronomer at the Purple Hills Observatory of the Chinese Academy of Sciences. Based on scientific observations of UFOs over his 39-year career, he has concluded that some are powered by antigravity devices.

“He claimed some extraterrestrials are visiting Earth in a Research and Development capacity, and are therefore friendly enough to begin cooperation and mutual exchanges. A summary of Wang’s speech was reported by a number of China newspapers including the influential People’s Daily Online.

“Based on his observations at Purple Hills Observatory and analysis of UFO sightings, Wang was able to conclude that some UFOs are not natural phenomenon, and use antigravity technology. This is how the People’s Daily Online summarized Wang’s reasoning: ‘Wang also found that in the terrestrial space between the height of 130 kilometers and 1,500 kilometers, UFOs have appeared many times. Their flying speed is … as slow as 0.29 kilometers per second [1000 km/hr] and they can fly in the 1,460 kilometers' height for more than 25 minutes. This means UFOs have the anti-gravity ability. Otherwise, they would fall soon.’”

France and the extraterrestrial hypothesis

In reporting in Open Minds on the application of the extraterrestrial hypothesis in the The Progress Report of the Sigma/3AF Commission, researcher Antonio Huneeus states that, “The Sigma/3AF is not a final report but just a work in progress document; nevertheless, it provides good background material on the history of official UFO research in France, a balance of Sigma’s work during the last two years, a brief description of the most significant French cases, and some comments and conclusions. The report begins with a brief history of French official UFO research, which is quite extensive: ‘France is the only country where the collection of Unidentified Aerospace Phenomena (PAN in French) and its scientific study have been assigned since 1977 to a civilian official organization, the CNES (National Center for Space Studies, the French space agency) through the GEIPAN study group.’

Mr. Huneeus continues, “After a short description of this unit, now known as GEIPAN (Study and Information Group on Aerospace Unidentified Phenomena), the report outlines other official or quasi-official French studies, including the famous COMETA (Committee for In-Depth Studies) Report of 1999, issued by a group of high-ranking retired French military and intelligence officers, which concluded that UFOs were real and probably extraterrestrial."

Mr. Huneeus writes, “Members of the Sigma/3AF Commission also met representatives of many other official French military and intelligence organizations that had some UFO involvement in the past. These included the National Gendarmerie, which has collected UFO reports systematically since the 1960s; the General Secretariat of National Defense, which issued an interesting report a few years ago (although I am not aware that it was ever released to the public); the Air Force; and one of France’s intelligence services, the General Directorate for External Security, which admitted through an ‘authorized source’ that UFOs have been monitored by the agency since the early sixties.

"The section on ‘the most important French cases’ provides then a very short descriptions of the following according to ‘Sigma/3AF’ outstanding five incidents:

1. A mass UFO sighting in Madagascar in 1954
2. The landing and close encounters in Valensole in 1965, which was documented by the police
3. The no less famous landing in Trans-en-Provence in 1981
4. A similar case from 1982 (both cases were investigated by the armored and were each published in their reports # 16 and # 17)
5. The sighting of a UFO by several witnesses, between Biarritz and Strasbourg in 1990.

According to Mr Huneeus, “In the Comments section, the Sigma/3AF report uses unambiguous language, for instance: ‘No natural phenomenon can account for the majority of observation reports accompanied by electromagnetic detections made by one or several radars. Both the defense services and air traffic control have been confronted a number of times around the world with unknown aerial intrusions or artificially induced phenomena.’

“Later on, the report goes on to say, ‘The behavior of these devices during encounters with fighter jets or interceptors – some have participated in real swirling battles in the U.S. – suggests they are controlled, guided or led by particularly sophisticated automation.’ And then again, ‘air superiority of the craft concerned, if they are indeed crafts, is such that none of the many interceptions which have been made against them, in the United States for example, have been able to overcome one of these devices.’"

Mr Huneeus states, "After outlining a number of characteristics exhibited by UFOs, such as ‘remarkable accelerations of the craft right after a stationary mode,’ the report indicates: ‘We feel that we must reject the thesis of a terrestrial origin for all the observations made since World War Two. Indeed, if a nation of the world had been able to secretly develop such an armada of exotic craft, like those observed for more than half a century, the means of analysis and strategic logistics available would have permitted their rapid identification.

“’The illegal overflights which they have been guilty of conducting could constitute a casus belli [cause for war].’ The Sigma/3AF experts go on to state that, ‘the above features suggest that in many cases the devices detected, far from being unidentified, are easily recognizable by the aerial defense agencies as part of a technology far ahead of ours.’ And later: “’We have been unable to get any serious indication as to the origin of the aerospace phenomena that is the subject of our research. The technological elements that we selected… allow us to draw some assumptions about the aircraft in question, which do not seem to belong to an identifiable terrestrial technology at the times when they were observed.”’

“The Sigma/3AF report finally agrees with COMETA’s conclusion that we are probably facing an ET presence. That conclusion was quite controversial for a semi-official study like COMETA back in 1999 and was criticized by many in the French press. Yet the Sigma/3AF Commission found no quarrel with it.

Mr. Huneeus concludes, “’Thus, the central hypothesis proposed by the COMETA report still cannot be rejected up to this day and remains perfectly credible,’ they wrote. ‘Many documents and materials examined by the authors of this report confirm it. We have therefore retained, among some others but only as a working hypothesis, the possibility that most of the craft observed can have a non-terrestrial origin.'"

How the extraterrestrial hypothesis about UFOs relates to Exopolitics

Exopolitics is, by the most general definition, the science of relations among intelligent civilizations in the multi-verse.

UFOs, however, are only one of the 15 or so separate databases that Exopolitics as a science uses to study the behavior of intelligent civilizations in the multi-verse toward Earth, for example. The UFO database of the UFO phenomenon has been gathered by independent UFOlogists worldwide since at least 1947 in the modern era, and stretches back to ancient times.

As this reporter Alfred Lambremont Webre has stated, “UFOs are a pervasive social meme in our time, as well, in part because UFOs are a meme paradoxically used by the national security state to engineer the extraterrestrial embargo.”

Dr. Michael E. Salla has stated, “Thank you Alfred for again pointing the following: ‘UFOs are a pervasive social meme in our time, as well, in part because UFOs are a meme paradoxically used by the national security state to engineer the extraterrestrial embargo.’

Dr. Salla continues, “That is precisely the situation. In full sincerity and confidence briefed officials can say such things as ‘UFOs have no national security significance and so are not the subject of ongoing secret investigations as claimed by conspiracy theorists.’ What they are not saying is that all reports of UFOs are immediately categorized in something similar to the following. Natural phenomenon, misidentified aircraft, identified advanced classified vehicles, identified extraterrestrial vehicles, etc. Once the identified objects are removed from the database what you have left is a mishmash of anomalous objects placed under the UFO rubric with no national security significance. Essentially, that's what happened with the Project Blue Book reports as Brig General Bollender pointed out in 1969. Hence the feigned non-interest in UFOs that militaries in the U.S., Britain, etc., put out year after year. The continued use of the UFO term does enable the extraterrestrial truth embargo which is why the ‘Exopolitics’ term is so important in putting the public back on track.”

Whenever the extraterrestrial hypothesis is applied to specific UFO sightings and encounters, such as has been done in the cases of France, U.K. and China (above), the national security state’s use of the term ‘UFO’ to continue the extraterrestrial embargo is automatically deconstructed, as UFOs are now authoritatively identified as extraterrestrial in origin

The extraterrestrial hypothesis when applied to specific UFO sightings and encounters makes those UFO sightings and encounters candidates for entry into the Exopolitics database.

UFOs plus the extraterrestrial hypothesis then become UFOs as part of the study of relations among intelligent civilizations in the multi-verse, and part of the working science of Exopolitics.

Would we make good hosts?

Below is an excerpt from an interview with George Adamski, the famous Polish born American Ufologist who supposedly had intimate contact with extraterrestrials. This interview was taped and documented in the year 1955.

"Q. Are they all friendly?
A. Yes, very friendly, more so than any people on earth. People on earth pretend to be friendly but they are not really friendly to each other as these people are, even the so-called strangers.

Q. If their ships crash on earth or if they are shot as has been reported, do they have any way of protecting themselves?
A. No they do not, although they could. Although it is possible that they could harness this magnetic ray and shoot it out towards us and stop us in our tracks. But this is something they won't do. They claim that they have no right, I asked them about that, and they said they have no right to take revenge for a lack of understanding or ignorance.

Judging by the above excerpt, some more statements made in the interview and the aliens' supposedly benevolent demeanor, I couldn't help but wonder if the very reason for their enigmatic behavior is our own savagery. For now, just forget about the severe human rights violations in Nigeria or Iran, or even a tyrant of a mother-in-law persuading a young woman to kill herself in the name of dowry in your immediate neighborhood for that matter. Let's just look inside ourselves. What would you do, if a drunken bearded man you walk past, makes a remark on your buttocks? How would you react, if your teacher failed you in an exam because he overlooked a small portion of the paper? How would you feel, if your boss promoted an apparently less talented colleague instead of you? In general, how would a normal person react even if he's wronged in the slightest manner? Of course, we've all arrived at a conclusion that it's human nature to feel sadness when we're wronged. Yet, human history has had several of these inhumanly selfless role-models like Jesus Christ or Gandhi who supposedly showed the other cheek when wronged. How is that possible? Weren't they human too?

I feel, there's something logically amiss. Perhaps, there's something fundamentally wrong in most of the things in life that we've accepted to be true. Now that I thought some more about it, I wonder this. Wasn't that drunken man's remark on your buttocks merely a compliment? The teacher on the other hand, gave you a chance to improvise your knowledge while all others got to forget about whatever they had studied and learned. As for the boss, that promotion could have probably meant lesser responsibilities and fewer means to learn.

Is this the way our extraterrestrial visitors think? If so, I definitely believe its this collective attitude that has allowed them to progress so far as to build inexpensive warp drives and travel the stars.

Now that the point is established, let us consider a scenario wherein you are a government appointed scientist who's out over a remote uncharted island, scanning the horizons from an airplane. You spot a tiny band of tribes looking at your craft in awe, worshiping it and dancing in funny patterns. You know that civilization has never been in this part of the world, and that these tribes have little morals that match your upbringing, let alone they believe it's okay to indiscriminately kill and devour another human being from a different tribe. Yet, even if you did land in the middle of their village, they would worship you. They would most certainly be harmless to a technologically and culturally superior being and you know that for a fact. Yet, would you land right between them? Would you still extend your hand to them in friendship? Despite your strong belief in human rights and equality, would you let a random one of those tribesmen sit in your plane?

Okay, now switch this primitive tribe for a little bit more civilized locality; say, a village in a remote part of India where the people have heard about cars and televisions, yet, is rife with petty street violence, domestic violence and flawed political ethics. Would you still pick one of these random villagers and let them sit in your plane, or work for you as a secretary or at least a Janitor? I highly doubt it. I believe, the relationship between humanity and ETs is merely a scaled up version of this scenario, so no.

We will never make good hosts. At least, not just yet. Inducting humans in their societies, or even being allowed into their homes would desecrate their society. Sorry for this extremely morbid post, but unless we make changes within ourselves, we have no right to expect the world to change around us. Sure, there's always going to be a difference between us and them before we make first contact. Sure, that difference is going to remain unless our ET visitors extend their arms and reach out to us (which solely puts the responsibility called first contact on them). But the good news is, it is possible to encourage them. The best way to do so, is to change ourselves bit by bit.

UFOs spotted over Maloneys

They came from outer space ... or maybe just Batehaven.

It appears that the impressive spotlight at the Bells Carnival at Batehaven has triggered a UFO sighting in Maloneys Beach.

Last Thursday, a Maloneys Beach resident, who will remain anonymous, saw strange lights in the size and shape of hula hoops from his yard, around 9.30pm.

“They were like smoke rings, one after the other, coming from the south-west to the north-east, and they would reach a point and disappear,” he said.

“I didn’t expect little green men to come out of them, but it was quite unusual.”

The resident did consider the carnival.

“But I thought that they weren’t coming from the right direction,” he said.

“I accept that the carnival is the best answer. They must have a clever machine.”

Bells Carnival’s Elwin Bell thought the lights probably came from one of the spotlights on his no-limit rides.

“Even as far as Maloneys Beach, it would explain the sightings,” he said.

Canberra-based cryptonaturalist Tim the Yowie Man gave a possible explanation for the lights appearing to be coming from a different direction than the carnival.

“You only need one cloud in the sky to create refraction of lights,” he said.

“It used to happen a lot a couple of years ago in Canberra when the Hellenic Club had their big light on when they held their disco. People would report UFOs on the nights the disco was held.”

How to spot a fake UFO video - My personal experience

After months of wondering why UFO sightings aren't taken seriously, I came to a conclusion. What might that conclusion be? Is it that most of the sightings, footage and photographs are fakes? No. It's because amateur enthusiasts fail to identify a fake, get excited about it, spread the news like wildfire, and throw away their credibility when someone else finds out the truth for them.

So before you look at an interesting video online (like the ones I post), watch out for these signs.

1) Excessive exclamations: Not all hoaxsters do what they do out of malicious intentions alone. Many do it out of an impulsive rush, which is why they caption their uploads laden with too much emotion. If you see a video captioned something like "THIS IS FOR REAL!!!!!!" or "REAL UFO VIDEO. NO JOKE!!!", it's most likely the work of a faker trying to get hits and earn a quick buck.

2)Lack of detail: An authentic video would have some detail of it in the description. The details could consist of anything ranging from the date and time of shooting, to textual description of what the witness saw, or at the very least, the context of that footage.

3)Lack of editing: Lack of editing is a good sign. Even a simple screen text could mean that the poster knew some basics on video editing, and was trying to put some sensationalism in his video to earn hits. Once this intent and skill level is exposed, there's no telling what else the video uploader might have done to make it look real.

A raw footage with unclear sound and plenty of background noise on the other hand speaks volumes on its authenticity.

4) Comments and ratings disabled: If comments and ratings for a video is disabled, it's most likely a fake, no matter how real it looks. He knows that people are likely to ridicule him and make his negative reputation lose traffic to his channel.

5) Elusive uploader: Try contacting the uploader. If he doesn't reply, he's probably just busy. But if his statements are defensive (like "get lost, I don't have to answer to you"), he's most likely faker.

6) Bad animation and editing: Not only bad ones, but even mediocre ones can be spotted this way. If a real footage was extremely detailed(with a really vivid shape), it would've made it to the news on TV and the poster would have drawn a lot of attention to himself . Otherwise, it would've come off a credible source such as wikileaks, MUFON or a very successful uploader on youtube (in terms of number of videos and hits). On the other hand in case of a not-so-detailed-looking UFO (like a vague disc), an animator wouldn't spend too much time and effort perfectly synchronizing an animation with the subtle camera movements. Even if he did, he's likely to miss out on authentic audio and noise coming from the background.

7) Likes vs Dislikes and not the
comments: Every UFO footage on youtube has its share of skeptics, no matter how real or authentic it is. But the like:dislike ratio of the video on the other hand speaks a lot about its authenticity. If more people disliked the video, than liked it in a ratio like 150 : 1, its likely a fake. But don't jump to conclusions if you see something like 1543: 1357. Watch out for the other signs too.

8) UFO flight path: A UFO has better things to do than look for a guy on the ground with a camera from 20,000 feet away and fly right over him so that the cameraman can get a perfect shot at it. Also, a UFO flying towards or away from the cameraman would look quite detailed; enough for you to observe the shadows and lighting on it.

Even seeing none of these signs on a video doesn't necessarily establish its authenticity. Regarding UFO sightings, unfortunately, there is no black area. There's only a grey and a white area. So even if you see a realistic fake UFO footage, the least you could do is give credit to the hoaxster's skill.
